Hello… Today we are gonna talk about the movie… PSYCHO
This is a great movie. It was released in 1969 in Black and White format. And don’t worry….Black and white is gonna make the movie more scarier..and more thrilling.
The movie starts off with a woman, named Marion Crane, who drives off in a car with the money she was given to deposit in the bank.
She drives away from the town, and a thunderstorm hovers. So she stops, and finds a discreet hotel, which she think will provide her safety from, the police atleast.
She drives into the Bates Motel, owned by Norman Bates, a young boy, who lives just beside the motel in a house. He gives the Crane a room and gives a little chat. He tells that he lives there along with his mother, and that the motel was no longer busy. A man comes and goes eventually..
Marion who was so afraid..goes back to the room and goes to bath. As she baths in the bathtub, a old woman comes and stabs Marion, and kills her.
Norman discovers it after a while, cleans it up and pushes the whole car along with Ms.Crane in it..into a lagoon.
Then the sister and police start looking for her sister, trying to unfold the mystery….
Yeah this is it. The main plot. But there’s a lot more you can see and expect from the movie.
The pros of movie:
- It’s black and white makes it more scarier.
- It’s direction.
- Strong acting.
- Good direction.
- Awesome original score.
- Great twist.
- You’ll never find yourself bored during the movie.
Yeah, the major plus to the movie is Bernard Herman’s music. He provided a great BGM. It still strikes terror when you hear it. It still stands as the best horror music ever taken.
And it’s own of the best horror movies you could ever find.
